“He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him." [Psalms 91:15]
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him." [Psalms 91:15]
The Power of Prayer
Tremendous power is made available through a good man's earnest prayer. Do you remember Elijah? He was a man like us, but he prayed earnestly that it should not rain. In fact, not a drop fell on the land for three and a half years. Then he prayed again; the heavens gave the rain, and the earth sprouted with vegetation as usual.What we need is an earnest prayer. In the old testament, Hezekiah prayed earnestly with tears, the Lord healed him and gave him 15 more years to live.
The LORD says "because he loves me, I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name."
"He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. " Psalms 91:14-15
When we love God he will deliver us. When we pray, He will answer our prayers.
Jesus said, "For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."
Are we spending enough time in prayer? If we pray the same amount of time we worry, we will see a huge difference. Please stop worrying and start praying.
Hannah Prayed for a Son, but God gave her Prophet Samuel
Prayer changes things
“As she kept on praying to the LORD, Eli observed her mouth. Hannah was praying in her heart, and her lips were moving but her voice was not heard. ” [1 Samuel 1:12]
